Wooden & bamboo articles including cutlery, chopping board, trays, cloth clips, etc do get some amount of persistant fungal growth during rainy season. So one needs to be careful when using it. Even well-known and branded Home Centre bamboo cutting board with the cut out for holding it is not spared! Vinegar Lime juice treatment works but is short lived. A good mold spray treatment is what stopped the cycle of fungal growth that occured after each use.
