I've never been to Mexico but I did visit San Diego and the Mexican people I met there were all around some of the nicest people I ever met. Guatemalans and El Salvadorians tend to be extremely shy and keep to themselves.

The streets of Culiacán are so clean and buildings nicely painted and taken care of. I love the quality of life there. It might sound scary the way news portrays the region but if you keep to yourself then you’ll be fine. Just respect people’s spaces and culture and it’s fine. I travel (or used to) a lot for business (and fun), and Simon reminds me of some coworkers that sometimes joined me on international trips.. the guys that basically just go from the airport to the hotel to the offiice and back to the hotel. I don't think Simon is quite that bad, and I enjoy the vids with him, but this is the complete opposite of how I like to travel. @@mikejr8604 bolillos are basically fine bread that is made to make “tortas” (mexican sandwiches). They are pretty big sized bread so you can fill them up with chilaquiles(nacho tortillas drenched with green salsa or red salsa, egg, cheese, refried beans, ect... i truly recomend them plus you can even eat bolillo bread with your coffee and it tastes fantastic.

Had it once when it was cold in mexico city and i regret not going back and having it again. And its great that you are stopping by many different countries and getting to know the cultures.
