My SIL said something very profound when my nephew went into the army.. you know you’ve been successful as a loving parent when your children feel confident, loved & secure enough to spread their wings and go off on their own to start their own lives. You did it Mama. I know it’s hard to see them go but YOU did that, you created these beautiful, confident, self assured young adults who are well rounded enough to know what they want in life! @@jenniferhansen3622 I’m so glad it brought you comfort Jennifer, I really am 💗 I’m disabled & I sadly haven’t been blessed with babies, my nieces & nephews are as close to children as I ever became. They know I love them as if they were my own. I became emotional seeing them go off into the adult world, but my SIL’s words also brought comfort to me, knowing we as a family rounded them into such confident, strong wonderful adults that they felt assured to go off into the big wide world. The army wasn’t for my nephew & after 3 years he made the amazing decision to go into paediatric nursing, he is off to university in a few weeks, my Auntie heart couldn’t be prouder that HE felt comfortable & confident enough to say it wasn’t for him, & to take a different direction. Wishing you so much love & strength as your daughter paths her way into college, she’ll be fine mama, you’ve got this, you both have, I promise! 💗 xx

CONGRATULATIONS! What an exciting time! We only have one son, so when we had to drop him off to university, so far from home, we literally cried the entire drive home and then some, for a while…... Cut to 10 years later, he’s now an attorney, and he still lives far from home. I promise you Mama Bell, it does get easier, because we as mom’s, want nothing but THE best for our kids, and we KNOW that they will always come home to visit. They will always miss you as much as you miss them. ❤

I’m gonna miss them , when we took my son to college he was 11 hours away . My husband said I cried through 2 states on the way home . It was so hard for this boy mom and very proud . Now he is married with 2 beautiful girls .❤️

So bittersweet when our kids leave for college! I remember those times when my daughter went to college, 5 hours away. It was fun shopping and getting her set up in her dorm, but I cried all the way back home. I sent her care packages and visited as much as I could. I have been getting the large recycling bags for gifts the past few years. They really like them and that is what they use when they shop. Better than the thin plastic bags. Congratulations on getting your kids off to school. It is expensive and alot of planning and work.

Hi Izzy. For iced coffee, I stir instant coffee or instant espresso into Torani syrup, then mix into milk of choice. Then add ice cubes. Or, Starbucks Coldbrew poured over ice and milk/sweetener of choice 😊

Two years ago today we dropped our oldest son for Navy bootcamp. He could only have a change of clothes. Our youngest son was dropped off two weeks ago for college. He took an ice maker, microwave.
