Just freeze your hohos, chopped or whole. They last a while. I do that to most of my seasonal veggies and fruits. But I've found that if I freeze bell peppers, they cook better if I just add them to the pan frozen rather than thawed out. Broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus too. But it's a personal preference.

Nilihama Githurai market juu ya matope. Try Ruiru market. Parking ni mingi na ni safi sana. Broccoli pia iko kwa wingi sana. Best days to go shop is on Wednesday and Saturday. Hizo ndizo siku za soko. Prices ni equally the same or even slightly cheaper than Githurai.

I do my grocery shopping after every 2weeks at kayole corner. I live in donholm so it's easier for me. I go on a Sunday so there are less people, ample parking, and things are waaay cheaper there.

We learn some cooking tips from you too, ama! Alafu, I have a tip ya kuweka hoho for long. Wash hohos, cut into 2 halves, remove seeds, then chop them into your desired shape, put them in any freezer bags, seal, lastly freeze them. Ukipika unatoa hoho zako & jus cook as desired. No need to defrost, toa, weka kwa mashakura:) done deal. Love you guyz:)😍👍👍

I live in Githurai so my shopping is just made easier, also there are so many wholesale shops where I do most of my shopping at a very cheap price. Alafu btw kwa voting ya jana, Kabi mobilised the cartels to vote against the name SQUAD, lakini Mungu ni Mwema leo watu wa Tharaka Nithi tunasema, jina SQUAD ikuwe! Mad love guys!
