How things have changed. I remember going to the market as a kid in the 70s on the 3C bus from Humberston. It was# so busy and vibrant. such a sad view to see how it’s gone. Remember to MS ,Woolies etc well

My mother used to cycle from Scartho to the pea bung for chips and scraps in the 1930s because this was a very cheap lunch. So sad to see it all today.

Freshney Place killed Freeman Street. On a Tuesday people used to come from miles around to the market.
