They have such great chemistry together. You can tell Laura likes Shoresy too, but she's busy taking care of her kids and all. I think she's waiting for Shoresy to "go in for the kill", but it kinda seems like the big-shot hockey player is nervous about taking his shot. Remember what Wayne Gretsky said, Shoresy!

I was determined to dislike Shoresy after seeing the great work put in on Letterkenny, thinking Shoresy could never be so good. NOW, I have rewatched Shoresy and am ready waiting for Season two with pleasant antic-ip-ation. Did anyone else catch 'Wayne as that character the Canadian Hockey coach? Now that was very well done and made me admire 'Wayne', ( obviously) not for his diversity or 'range ' of acting, but for laying down an impeccable piece of acting work.

Okay. you're in luck. First this is Shoresey (named after that guy). He was a side character in a show called Letterkenny. Which you should watch. Second, they didn't get together as someone said but we'll see in the future as this was only season 1. Also Shoresey being wholesome is a bit of a change form what we fans were sued to form his time on Letterkenny. Important heads up though. Shoresey is played by Jared Keeso (also the writer and creator) and on Letterkenny he plays the main guy there who is not Shoresey. SO whenever Shoresey does appear they dont show his face. Trust me, it works. I hope you enjoy and I hope this was helpful.

I wonder if there is going to be a serious character of arc of Laura trying to quite alcohol(?) Shoresy mentioned earlier how she should let him take her out for some “caramel signattos” but Laura rebuffs him by saying how the coffee shop doesn’t make them “how [she] likes it” after pouring something from a flask into her mug. It would be a really ambitious story to weave into this show.

​@@Adamdidit By volume, probably not, but there are a couple of differences in the portrayal of her drinking from the "normal" over-drinking seen on the shows. 1. Her character isn't as much of a cartoon as some others. Just to be clear, I'm not saying any one character isn't believable or anything like that, but she is a more grounded character compared to McMurray, for example. This slight ungrounding at least in said portrayals, makes his and Mrs. McMurray's escapades in Las Vegas or in their swingers life a little less heavy. 2. The context to her drinking habits is more serious. While overdrinking is still overdrinking outside of the social aspect, drinking with friends is generally regarded as being more healthy than drinking to just get through the day as Laura seems to.
