Usually after a professional game they announce the 'Three Stars of the Game" where the 1st star would be the best player from the game, 2nd best player 2nd star, etc etc. And usually when they announce those players they'll skate back out on the ice and give the fans a wave and then point to a fan (usually a child) along the glass and toss their stick over the glass to the fan as a souvenir. It's a pretty cool gesture honestly and it's pretty fun to watch but yeah definitely hilarious in this video/context to just do it during the middle of the game after the first goal lmao
