You might have to bend your natural hair before braiding if it's too long.

Did a wonderful job her hair looks very very nice. I used to wear a similar style but we called them tree braids. I guess the difference is you add hair throughout the braids instead of just one time at the beginning.

Thank you so much!! Yes, I remember seeing tree braids, I believe the techniques are different when installing. Tree braid start with a small cornrow and they feed the curly hair in for a big hair / crochet hair look. These are knotless (individual braids ) with curly hair feed into the braid to achieve this look. I hope that better explains the difference.

@@IrenesBraids . You could do cornrows or individuals. Mine were individuals you can get any size braid I usually did mini braids with the hair braided in but it started at the beginning inserting hair just one time. They called it tree braids because the hair you left out was like a branch of a tree. But this was in the 90s in Texas so it might have had a different name elsewhere. Knotless braids sure weren't around then🤣😂😂
