The Handmaid's Tale is one of my favorite series, this sounds intriguing.

@@TheLinguistsLibrary It definitely is. There are plenty of other reviews praising the book. So maybe I went in with the wrong expectations?

It kinda hurts when you really want to like a book more :/ My cat Sheba (an orange Tabby, so yes he's crazy) gave your review 5 purrs. He watched the whole video with minimal swatting, or attempting to knock the laptop on the ground😸
