Some courses you can do overseas like Barista, waiting skills. Others you need to do it here like RSA, RSG, White card as they are legally required here.

Hi Him Satija, usually you can get anywhere between $20 to $25 per hour for the barista jobs. If you become an experienced barista, you can get paid higher than that also. :)

But its very difficult to get your first job because almost everywhere atleast 2 years experience is required...and employers dont hire u if u fail to show your skills during practical interview...

But think if you are running a business, would you be able to hire all your staff inexperienced. Sometimes, we need to get some experience and once we know what we are doing, it is very easy to find jobs then. But we completely agree with you that finding first job as an overseas student in Australia can be really tough.

Hi Charmaine, thanks for asking the question. No, there is no guarantee that completing these courses will give you a job. But for example, RSG is a minimum requirement if you want to work in gambling industry.
