on black metal gunfighters tito's pedigree the catchweight win was actually a tosa... the tosa was the world champ named the best tosa on earth... the fight went over an hr and that is very rare for any breed outside of apbt.... the apbt won.... tito also hunts wolves lol apbt is the best usually period....

@Dominic Clarke, they aren’t “made to fight”. It’s selective breeding, hard testing and hard culling. If you were to place your dog in front of one of these dogs they’d attack it. They’ve been genetically programmed just like Pointers point, Setters set, Retrievers retrieve, Herders herd and Hounds trail.

Meditate to get rid of your stress please don't subject the beautiful loyal animals to stress by making them fight. @Top10 is right. It's not the awful blood sport America made it with pitbulls. Americans treat pitbulls like they are disposable. These dogs love really well! I don't see them covered in nasty scars like those poor pitbulls. There's an anime that kind of describes how these dogs think. Ginga Nagareboshi Gin (Shooting Star Silver Fang is the English translation I believe) and the sequel Ginga Densetsu Weed. There are some fantasy elements to it because, well, anime. But the way the dogs act at times is pretty accurate from what I've researched. Serious loyalty, fighting spirit. It's in these dogs blood, I swear.

I love this dog breed but the level of gameness Pitbull possesses is unmatched by any other breed a pitbull will get mauled by one of these larger dogs all the way up into the point the larger dog is exhausted cannot continue that's when the Pitbull will start winning because he will not give up

In the working Tosa every 3 generations pitbull blood is added to add gameness, endurance and fresh blood. That's why the fighting Tosas differ a lot from the ones you see at Western shows (smaller, lighter, colour is not important).

There is a reason American Gamedogs are very popular in Japan. There is no dog that compare to the gamebred Pit Bulldog when it comes to gameness. Tosa matches are more like a wrestling match. I’d cross the Tosa with an APBT to improve the gameness, agility and endurance of the Tosa. And that’s just what they are doing. 😎

We are talking about what you may call “American Pit Bull Terriers” and they aren’t losing to Tosa with any degree of regularity. We call APBTs “Pit Bulldogs” or just “Bulldogs” here in the southern states (USA). So, maybe the names are throwing you. And for American Bulldogs I have seen them defeat Kangals which don’t seem to like the pressure the American Bulldog can put in them. Re-read all I’ve posted with that in mind, please.

@@WDLC1911 I’ve seen what 75lbs Tosa’s can do to an APBT under Cajun rules. There’s been plenty of APBT that beat Small Tosa’s Yes. But I’ve also seen the same Tosa’s KILL APBT under Cajun rules! The actual match up is a 62-70lbs APBT VS a 130lbs - 147lbs Tosa. And 80% of the time Tosa’s are the victor!
