Hi Keith, The Owl was settled down for a bit, until evening time I think. Still at least you got a glimpse of it. You will get the photo one day!! Nice to see one even if its only on film... 🙂👍🏻

Hi Eddie. Yes I even went back about 5 hours later and it was still in the same place. Don't blame it with that weather!!

Hi Keith I will look forward to part 2 I hope that short eared owl was nice and sheltered during those storms, I've never seen one personally and at least you got to see one. Until next time take care and stay safe.

Morning Keith, for me Short-Eared Owls keep trying to see one with no luck, the crane I saw a long time ago I think it was in Cambridge like you a long shot and it was only one. Thanks for sharing.👍

Nice to see at least one is still there after they cut the grass. I saw 5 there on New Year’s Eve 2021 - that’s so last year! 😂 Nice Keith, look forward to part 2 👏👏👏

And good to see the Cranes too Looking forward to seeing the Marsh Harriers - we watched six last week at Holme Dunes in Norfolk. Hi Keith, cracking birds short eared owls. Got my best shots of shorties a couple of years ago, took about six visits to the same location though. All the best, Steve.

Good try. I think owls don't like strong winds like you said. I've never seen Short-eared Owls hopefully one day. 👍

I've just found your channel after seeing you on a podcast, and I am so glad I did. I absolutely love your content, it is so relaxing to watch and great to learn from. I've been trying a local spot near me to try and see some barn owls but no luck so far, I think they may be over wintering elsewhere. I am so glad you had a fruitful trip with the short-eared owl, it was wonderful to see!

Thank you Chloe you’re very kind and I appreciate your comment. The Barn Owl is the one of my favourites I really hope that you find it. I’ve been struggling to find any over the winter, I know there’s one in the area but it’s always too dark to photograph it. The Short Eared Owls are great but I still haven’t got the photo I really want of them yet. Enjoy your trips out and look forward to seeing what you come up with. Thanks for watching, cheers Keith.

Don't know how far you traveled to that location Keith but have had a few disappointing time's going out to a locations with a hope of seeing something with very limited opportunities these days really dig into the current info. on the net if I plan to travel any distance or alternatively go for a "sure fire" top reserve saves me a lot of self doubt. Hope you meet with success in part 2.👍

Less than an hour for me Glen so not too bad at all. I travel that far to go to work every day 😂. I split it into two parts because it was getting a bit long. Cheers Keith
