If you’re using a lighter coloured acrylic for the French part be sure to put a coat of white gel on top so your colour doesn’t show through.

This is just a thought I had running through my head when you were crisping up the smile line, but what if you put down a clear protection layer over the red gel polish to keep it from getting knicked by the hand file? Unless you doing the black over it didn't make a difference? They came out gorgeous regardless!
