Question, I am a beginner reseller and am thinking about cross listing on eBay but I’m confused, you pay for shipping yourself? Or is there an option for the buyer to pay for shipping or do you opt to pay for shipping but offset the shipping fees by increasing your item prices?

eBay has the option for buyers to pay their own shipping. Some buyers like that option, some buyers like the "free shipping" option. I review current sales on eBay and see what prices things are selling for (including shipping) and then just average out the costs.

I incorporate shipping into my price of my items. I use an average cost of shipping when I do this. It drives sales. Everyone likes free shipping. Although, it’s not technically free.
