I know what your saying but in the beginning sectioning and knowing where your going is everything. Thats why I was surprised to see him cut that way for a beauty school because when I was in beauty school Id be hard pressed to duplicate that style with no guidelines, but yea after a while you def get to where you can feel the hair without as much sectioning.

I agree with D Fowler this hairstyle should be dried with just hands and not a round brush!! so this pretty young lady ended it up looking like granny!! The best technique to cut this hairstyle is the one from London VS!! I can see a huge difference between this one and the one from VS

Everyone complaining about how rough he is..but doesn't notice him asking her if she is ok..periodically..if he was so rough I'm sure she would have said something..in addition some people don't know there own strengths..but as I stated before he does ask her if she is ok..so why doesn't anyone know or see this?

I think people know this is one of the best instructors in the world, and perhaps she feels intimidated, but... she probably feels nervous as he's pretty much hair cutting royalty. He's a perfectionist. Like changing his scissors....so she's probably nervous. But she got like a $200 haircut.

Amazing .. someone said where's the sectioning blah blah .. this guy is a genius he didn't need to section to creat a beautiful look. I go to beauty school and the lesson I got out of that was sculpting and having confidence in the cut/style you are creating.

I agree. He's a bit heavy-handed at times, particularly as he moves the head and not re-calibrating his sweep and slice as he changes cutting tools. I can't imagine clients sitting through that type of a cut long term. But he's very generous with his knowledge, which is a rarity in the hair business. Being from the Sassoon school of foundation of precision, I would synthesize his free-form aesthetics with that. Neither excess of free-form nor precision produces great results.

Juan Garcia IKR I would love him to cut my hair and these whiny people on here putting him down make me sick. He is an amazing hair dresser and great to watch and learn from. isisbenny404 is that his brand blades that are $2? The blades I get are not that much, so must just be his brand. They must be absolutely sterile if you are reusing them! If you are using on or near their skin it must be thrown away no matter how you sterilise them. It's ok if your not using them near the skin and just like the ends of the hair etc and using your hands as a barrier so the client is completely safe and no way they will get cut. I have never cut anyone cutting their hair but I have cut my self a few times lol especially when I was learning I did cut my self like once a week when I was first learning. Now it's hardly ever. But I always make sure my hand etc is the guard for the clients so they are safe.

Vennecia Paris this is just him showing how he cuts and how he sculpted the hair and is like an artist and just cuts and doesn't need to section etc as he knows exactly what he is doing. But I'm sure they know they have to section and they get taught how to do it all professionally too. It's just the way he sometimes cuts especially when he does a lot of texture in the cut.
