So impressed by the team selections. I believe this is the first time i liked baber as a captain. Abrar bowled so well according to today's situation. I doubt with other test playing nations he would be this effective coz eng came with a t20 mindset hence Abrar or rashid khan type t20 bowler can get more wickets. Rashid doesn't get more wclts coz other teams dont play test cricket like England. There ll be a change in the way England play or a team change will be there next match

Great performance! English went after him and what better way to shut up your opposition than to leave them awestruck... I think nothing better describes the expression of this performance than Stokes himself after getting bowled. This, more than anything else, helps stop the complexes that we as a society are so repleat with... There is no competition in life and you're the only master of your domain. Do and perform as you may... above the fray and against the headwinds. I hope youngsters take strength in this and we develop more youngsters fit and playing top of their game in other sports as well. If nothing than just to keep themselves positively occupied and top of their fitness.

Most of these players do not play in England's ODI team. This is simply the way England have chosen to play under the Captaincy of Ben Stokes.... this is his 8th match as Captain. So far, won 6 lost 1 playing this style of attack minded, exciting cricket. They won't always win playing this way but it will always be entertaining. Great to watch... test cricket still has a future if other teams adopt this attitude... no more draws.

Great to see a much better contest between bat and ball on account of a much better pitch this Test - almost 390 runs scored and 12 wickets! I'm hoping Pakistan can level the series to set up a decider in the 3rd Test. P.S. I'm also wondering if the same clown who called me a white supremacist with a colonial mindset for criticising the pitch in the 1st Test will again claim I'm a racist.

It was not only you. Everybody was criticising that pitch. We also criticise Indian Ahmedabad Pitch where test matches rarely last for more than 2 days. Even Joe Root was consistenly taking fifers there. But we also need to look at Australian pitches. First Aus Vs Wi Test....Aus scored 600/4. The match produced a result just bcoz of poor WI batting. In the 2nd test again. Australia scored 500+. And nobody will crticise the pitch bcoz Windies somehow will find a way to lose the match on day 4. Extremely dead pitches but Poor performance from touring teams ensure those pitches don't get criticised ever.
