We rarely see many interviews with Koei staff members or developers, so this is great for us western fans to finally see an interview with Tomohiko Sho, a man who has brought many gaming memories in our childhood. I’ve been playing this game since DW3 in 2001 as a 10 year old kid, I’m now married as a 33 year old man and still to this day I play this series and have collected the entire series from the main Dynasty and Samurai titles, all Xtreme Legends and Empires expansions and have also collected all the spin-off titles, I’ve been such a hardcore fan of this series that I’ve spent countless hours playing them. Finally after waiting so long we finally have a triple AAA Dynasty Warriors title that is an absolute blast to play, the demo was intense, I can’t wait for the full release.

That is so cool. I thought he was just there and you could saw him and not really talk to him, but you could do an interview?! So cool. And good questions too^^ And he is also a cool person :D It was a bit funny for me because understanding both languages lead to that i heard everything double xD :D Oh and that translator was also great. That was so quick to find the words exactly. That was everytime the same sentences just translated in either english or japanese. Props to the translator as well (sorry, i‘m that language guy who appreciate this too xD)

Nightowl also had an interview with Tomohiko (the producer) and he asked a lot more questions about the game, so id recommend that video. But to answer your specific question, they answered no. Theres no free mode like in other previous DW games, but it may be on the table for DLC or other games.

Origins sucks ass. They need to shrink the people and add more enemies like millions and make the camera further away from the player and make their clothes seem realer and out better textures on the land and put more realistic flags in the battle field YALL FAILED AT THIS GAME IT SUCKS!!!!!
