My name is Matt, It’s hard to be motivated to exercise when you are feeling down, dealing with anxiety, and being judged for being different. As myself with autism including a learning disability it can be hard when I feel down about being teased, being put down, and feel unappreciated in life for trying to do good things or be a good person. It can get hard feeling motivated to go exercise. The best thing I can do is get ready in the early morning for a short 30 to 40 minute walk early in the morning to avoid heavily crowds or people getting judgmental on me and to help keep myself in good shape. Sometimes I get worried about walking early in the morning due to feeling anxiety about being safe. I keep going to be strong, to find a way to be confident, and to take the time to think of thoughts. When I have to go to the gym, I get ready for an early morning exercise. It can be hard going to the gym due to other people getting judgmental about me for not being prefect at doing a good workout or when they get fitness aggressive. The best thing that I can do is remind myself that myself that exercising at your own pace while improve your routine of a workout can help build your body, being creative at doing a workout is a great way to be motivated to continue to exercise, and exercising is good for mental health. When it comes to people getting judgmental about you not being perfect or if they get fitness aggressive the best thing that you can do is go at your own pace while improve your workout routine, be creative to finding ways to do a workout, and exercising is beneficial to yourself in many ways. I hope that this short narration is helpful or inspiring in many ways.
