Short road repair time lapse

Just some short time lapse I shot of some recent repair work as the result of all of our February main breaks.

In Michigan the road worker's work for 20min stand for 40 minutes then rinse and repeat. There's people who would go to extremes to get that job and actually work hard and prove themselves.

It was. These 2 clips where actually happening at the same time. The concrete guys actually poured the bigger one we where tearing out the next day. Wasn't enough for a full video but thought I'd throw it up anyway.

So when I drive by road crews and it looks like some are working and the rest are standing around staring at shit, that's actually what's going on.

It stays on most of the time but it is "quick attach" per say. We do most of our digging with the mini. Just easier to get in yards.

We do, it comes out on a very rare occasion. We'll get some stuff going now since the weather is getting better.

Why remove asphalt and then patch with concrete? Seems sketch

We have better luck with concrete on these spots then asphalt. Hot asphalt is not readily available to us for a small patch like this. This is a 30 mph road.
