Short Track Racing Highlights: Caraway Speedway - Southern Ground Pounder Vintage Cars 6/15/24

On 6/15/24 #CarawaySpeedway saw the #SouthernGroundPounder Vintage Car tour roll in for an exciting 25 Lap feature! It’s always exciting seeing the cars of the past hit the track and battle for wins again!
Race Summary: #68 Carlton Sharpe and #5 Dennis Werner lead the 14 car field to the green. Lap 6 saw #05 of Barry Dalton and the #60 of Brooks Jones go around on opposite ends of the track due to fluid on the track. With most other cautions being debris due to many cars having issues it came down to a battle between the #5 of Dennis Werner and the #2 of Mack Tatum. But after a hard fought battle #5 Dennis Werner would leave Caraway Speedway with the overall race win and the Mod Class win! #12 Bobby Griffin would go on to get the Sportsman Class win!
