Short track speed skating 5000m Men's relay - 28th Winter Universiade 2017, Almaty, Kazakhstan

Almaty February 7 - In men’s short track relay, a Kazakhstani athlete tripped and the Chinese team won.
Men’s short track speed skating. 5000m relay:
1. China - 7:04.443
2. Russia - 7:04.551
3. Kazakhstan - 7:13.799
The winners of the final competition in short track have been determined at the 28th World Winter Universiade. Four teams competed for the victory in 5000m relay. They made it to the final round after securing top places in the semifinals that had taken place the day before.
In the decisive start, the Chinese athletes were the fastest. They finished with a result of 7:04.443 minutes. Russian athletes took the second place with a small time difference. Athletes from Kazakhstan won the bronze medal. They could have done even better but shortly before the finish one of the Kazakhstani athletes stumbled as a result of his Korean rival violating the rules.
