i actually own the Liberty 3 pro and let me tell you that the case pretty much perfect quite close to the airpods pro in size, in my bias opinion the liberty are only loose to the airpods pro in transparency mode, everything else is pretty much better or similar in performance.

Soundcore is amazing at what they do. They're surprisingly high quality for the price. Fit is the only complaint I ever have with them, so if they released a line that was similar to Ultimate Ears, I'd never have to buy another brand.

2 things: 1. I love the idea of having bluetooth earbuds that can be simultaneously connected to multiple things like that. It would be so useful for lots of different situations. 2. can you use that dongle with a USB-to-aux to essentially connect to anything wirelessly that may not have bluetooth? Their price is SO competitive!! With the majority of flagships and "best brands" being over $150-$200, $100 for these multi-function buds is amazing. I could totally see myself just leaving a dongle plugged into my PC for "hifi" sound (hifi = not-bluetooth) and keeping my mic and everything working, and it seamlessly switches to my phone. I would also be down to get a second to leave in my laptop regularly as Linux+bluetooth is sometimes hit-or-miss. These are definitely going to be on my list.

Bluetooth+anything is a hit or miss, I just love the idea of it using a dongle cause it *SHOULD* mean seamlessly connectivity and the fact that it's 2.4GHz makes it the best choice for gaming. Definitely picking up a pair for my bedroom TV PC

Welcome to soundcore lol. That's basically all of their products. Their space a40 for $90 also have LDAC, multipoint connectivity, 50 hrs of battery life, and a low Latency mode; and the Liberty 4 for $129 have spatial audio, heart rate tracking, squeeze controls, and dual dynamic drivers in each ear that deliver probably the best audio for wireless earbuds.

@@SwanChairUh Soundcore's main selling point is the price. They have close to the sound quality of established brands in their higher tier products, but not quite. If they'd cost 200€, why not just buy Sennheiser, Sony, Bose, B&O, etc.? In other segments, like cables, Anker is the only reliable brand in the market. Of course they can charge a premium for that.

You should have tested latency. That's the main reason why these headphones even exist is because standard Bluetooth headphones don't play well with the quest.

I didn't know they unboxed/previewed these. I just bought them a few days ago on a small discount from Prime Day and I'm really liking them. I didn't know they had so many features, honestly I'm going to sell my normal gaming headsets now because I just don't like wearing gaming headsets, I never liked wearing over ear headphones and these sound better than my Arctis 7p+ and I tried them on my PCVR setup with my Index (left ear is cutting out frequently) and the sound is awesome. Crisp voices in VRChat and no loss of directionality/spatial audio. Much better sound easily with real bass and they're sooooo comfortable.

When I first saw these I thought they were a little gimmicky, but I didn't know it allowed both the dongle and bluetooth audio to connect at the same time, and the dongle holder in the case. So glad I ended up finding out about these ear buds. I received them today and they work awesome with my OneXplayer 2 pro. The pass through USB dongle doesn't work with my Rokid AR glasses but it's still a great mobile addition for gaming across various devices and easily using them with my phone for videos etc without any bluetooth conflcts with other devices.

These look absolutely PERFECT for using with a chromecast with Google TV. The dongle should just be able to plug right into the USB C port and still allow power passthrough. Compared to Bluetooth it will give you low latency for better lip sync in shows, and hopefully (maybe?) the option to connect two or more sets to the same chromecast. I've done this in the past with a type C hub and a USB to Bluetooth audio transmitter dongle that supports aptx LL, but it's more of a pain to travel with

This is really great with SteamDeck too, but with one caveat... If you own a device like nReal Air glasses (which are awesome with the SteamDeck!) you cannot use the passthrough on the VR P10 to get image to those glasses. The passthrough usb-c seems to be limited to charging, possibly data, but not display.

Honestly I see a lot of potential outside of just VR/console. Hook a dongle to the rear IO of a desktop or a desk bound laptop, Bluetooth connected to a phone. Keep working/playing with no need to swap the headphones over to your phone and miss the call and call back after you perform the unpair/re-pair ritual that usually requires a sacrifice and the bounty of the harvest to complete in a quick manner… Even though I spend a lot of time on macs, having my calls routed through can be a major inconvenience (zoom/teams calls interrupted/disconnected due to phone forwarding taking preference). Could be a very interesting proposition for a variety of use cases!

Quick note about the using them on a phone and for game audio, the audio quality from the dongle is degraded a lot. The audio is sent at a lower bandwidth so you can use the microphone over Bluetooth.

I'm interested in connecting it to my PC as well. On the product page, they imply that you can connect it to any device via USB-C. They also explicitly state that you can connect it to a PS4 via USB-A but you have to have a USB-A to USB-C adapter. So I'm assuming that should work too if your PC doesn't have a USB-C port. :D

With your pc you should be able to grab any old headphone that does multi point connection and get the same result. No special dongle needed.

I keep seeing multiple reviews saying this works with Xbox when it clearly does not and states that right in the information. Another thing that not a single reviewer ever talks about and at this point I think it's being omitted on purpose is that these absolutely cannot be used for wireless PC VR gaming. The only way these work for PC VR gaming is you have to plug the dongle into your computer and then use the Link cable. If you try to run this wirelessly you will get lots of stuttering due to latency. Already had to go through this with customer service.

HyperX has a similar product. It doesn't keep connection well enough in my experience. (Also more expensive) These from Soundcore look really interesting. I already bought their a40 buds and I love them so I almost trust that Soundcore will get these right
