With Miles signing the book with the word “love”, that implies he had feelings for Stuart, making him the first LGBT character on the show. This would recontextualise a few things about him, such as his views on religion especially going to a Catholic school. Considering Stuart was going to be gay before this was changed, interesting that the inscription calls him a “fellow traveller”.
