This is a video of a little shortline railfanning in Middle and South Ga.
7-19-17: The CaterParrot Railnet: Leaving Madison Ga, Arriving in Machen Ga. and a short cab ride from Machen to Shadydale Ga.
7-20-17: The Sandersville Railroad: Pacing and Street running in Sandersville Ga
7-21-17: The S A M Shortline: Crossing the CSX and NS diamonds in Cordele Ga.

The first train that backed into that siding...where is it going? I looked up Machen, GA, on Google earth and followed the track and there isn't any industry on that line.

They are shoving around an old Central of Georgia line that used to run from Machen to Porterdale. The Great Walton railroad used to run the line but when all of the industry work dried up, they gave it back to NS. Now, it serves as an interchange track for NS and this railroad. NS sends a job up from Macon and they pull their train into the track to the left of the train. Then they come around and grab the cars this railroad leaves for them and they head back to Macon. Same with this railroad, they head back north to Madison.
