I think they should add the black hawk helicopter. I mean sure the Ch-47 and Mi-8 hip are cool to see, but I really want to see team yankee release black hawk choppers.

They actually looked quite nice. I wouldn’t have anywhere to store the resin models, so these cardboard options are good.

The Hip can carry at least one Sherman underslung, surely?

@@FogofWar After seriously looking into it, the biggest lift capacity helicopters sadly cannot. Mi-10, Skycrane, Mi-26, Mi-6 are all just not capable of carrying 30 metric tonnes

Also I think adding the Mi-28 would be interesting.

Dragon models had a 1/144th scale Mi-28 model in the 1990s that they haven’t produced in a while. Maybe Battlefront should make them an offer to buy the mould for Team Yankee.

The Mi-8 rotors are plastic as they are shared with the existing Mi-24 I believe. All other models have cardboard rotors. I know many people are disappointed with this from comments I've seen elsewhere, but the reality is that they likely wouldn't be financially viable for BF to make in plastic. Personally I think it is better to get cardboard than nothing at all. Especially when these were originally only going to be special objectives and nothing else. At least they have rules. However, whether the price is fair for the resultant product is another matter.

They will be *BIG* chunks of resin. Too big for me! But people have been asking for them, and here they are. I’ll stick to the cardboard ones myself.

USMC player can replace £40 of plastic helos for £63 or resin helos with cardboard rotors. I think i'll pass thanks BF. 1 Sea Knight could carry the whole platoon so why make us buy 3?

Same story with US Army, a Chinook can fit 44 troops, which is more than a single platoon. But for some reason we need two for a single platoon...

I have been excited about them since about 2 weeks ago when I heard about them from Facebook with pictures of some units mostly the VDV box but there was confusion on if the infantry were plastic or metal. The stream said metal but the reseller that shared the box art said infantry are metal but the box art said all plastic lol... I hate metal they chip so easily even with varnish and are heavy. with all the helicopters i was excited but then people told me don't be. Still, i am going to get an MI-8 anyway and the sea stallion
