I remember watching them in the wild in Africa. Our hotel was surrounded with trees and the security guards would come up to you and shine their torches (flash lights) on them so you could see them. I was like 13 years old and I’m 42 now so it was a while ago. I fell in love with Africa and its people. So kind and warm people in the Villages in Kenya. Been back 8 times to see friends and we catch up over Facebook as well.

@@Biketunerfy I can see why, Africa is such a vast continent with so many beautiful & resource rich countries. Although, I get the impression that being a safari park ranger could get complicated there because the rangers role appears to not only that that protects the land & the wildlife but it's to also confront militarised poacher groups who stop at nothing to make illegal profit by exploiting animals & terrorise any civilians that they encounter while they're at it. I'm not sure the government supports safari park rangers by ensuring they are compensated with a sustainable wage & that safari parks are non profit organisations kept running by donations from people sympathetic to the very important cause.

@@carpathianken I know this. I have a friend who is a ranger but they do get paid a lot more than standard jobs. Also, it’s not all good. Sometimes you have to shoot butchered animals left by the poachers or animals suffering. It’s not all good and there are trade offs like any job.
