Luke and I randomized Scarlet and Violet! We randomized our starters 6 times but theres a twist! We will be revealing the first letter of the pokemon we have in front of us and then our opponent will choose one based off that information, then we fight in a 6v6 Pokemon battle! I think the gengar animation depends on size of pokemon. He was floating when florges was out because florges is a large pokemon and braviary is smaller than florges. This also works with kricketune and heracross and probably scyther

I think it's just random because Charizard does the same thing. Sometimes he stands other times he's flying but it could be size related

Na I think if a pokémon can fly or float, the game chooses based on the pokémon that was in before. So because vivillon was in and flying, gengar came in floating

Fun Fact: In Scarlet and Violet if a Pokemon can both fly and stand, whenever it is sent out it'll be random whether it is flying or standing. Hawlucha is an example of this

The reason why we Gangar was floating was because there were spikes on the ground, and Gangar usually has ability levitate

Just a question. What is the point of having the prior evolutions when you're just going to evolve them anyway. Why not have it where you use the pokemon THAT IS THERE. For example, with you evolving pokemon you had two chances for a Tyranitar immediately. If you want to make it more interesting why not actually USE the pokemon there. With you guys putting different abilities and such on the pokemon anyway it's not like baby mons or mid level mons would hurt too much.
