We Randomized the Stats of Every Pokemon, Then We Battle!

For everyone commenting about how Rich’s stats changed I literally have no idea how that even could happen. We had the exact same randomizer on and didn’t change it from the start of the video to the end. So I have no answer why his would change. I don’t know if the randomizer was turned off on his side during the team recap cuz maybe that could have been why but I have no idea.

Constructive Criticism. I think doing the team recap in segments during the battle isn't a good editing choice. When the battle starts I hate it being interrupted, it feels like a commercial. I do like the recaps, but maybe have them as soon as you pick, or all together before the battle.

This was a strategic move rather than a different editing style. I bet they are all starting to click into the fact their retention is tanking for team building/recaps so they are mixing into battle to forcefully prevent the usual skipping people likely do to just get to the battles

Yeah it kept pulling me out of the battle and got annoying pretty quickly. They could blend both ideas and do a team preview before the battle, then when a pokemon is switched in they can show the item and ability in the corner of the screen

Base stats for that Araquanid, assuming max attack and some EVs in def and speed would be: HP 215 Attack 218 Defense 250 Sp Attack 150 Sp Def 116 Speed 110 Total: 1059!!!

I see a lot of 500 stats for Tobin when his stats were really low when hatched while Rich's stats are much more even and balanced.

Yeah, during the hatching segment it looked like Rich had the better stats, and then in the recaps of the moves, Tobin's got ridiculously high stats and Rich's are unchanged at best, if not slightly worse.

Rich's pokemon stats aren't randomized for the recap, I don't know if they were for the battle, as Zangoose did take a 500+ attack leech life like a champ

I think Rich made some mistakes with the stats for the battle; for example, Fletchling's stats are shifted if you look at @2:04 and @14:56 ... (the stat spread is rotated) Further, it only gained like 64 stat points when leveling from lvl50 to lvl100? 🙊 Didn't bother to check for other mons tbh, but he oopsed there.

Well, they also leveled up from 50 to 100; which makes up for a lot on Tobin's side. Araquanid's stats all increased by 80~100% from level 50 to 100. That with the nature change, the EVs and IVs, it does make more sense than the Fletchling, to me.

The one thing I want to say is Rich saying "next up" on Falinks' summary and "starting off" on Fletchling's summary was confusing. That's the only down side to giving the summaries in battle. You record the summaries in one order, but you don't always stick to that order in the battle. I think Tobin nailed it, though. Saying "we have" instead of "first off" or "next up" makes all the difference when the team in-battle doesn't match up with the summary order. I would rather the team summary be done right before the start of the match, but this way isn't bad outside of that little bit of confusion.

People sleep on water bubble... It's double damage from water, that's the same as adaptability and tera... In which you can tera still so a water type with water bubble is x4 damage on water type moves... And you don't get burned so perfect for physical attackers. Slept on so much

Those stats on Ludicolo are unfair. Assuming that Ludicolo is max special attack and max speed evs with perfect IVs, it has to have a base stat total of over 840!!! This is the base split i have HP-129, ATK-121, DEF-84, SP. ATK- 175, SP. DEF-200, SPD-138

Rich probably didn't put any EV's and IV's on his mons in the build cause when they checked the stats after hatching all of them had some stats in their 200s. But in the team recap lot of Tobin mons have 400-500 stats and Rich have none of those...
