Love your reaction, and love Shoshana!! What you said about her soul is so spot on. Like it’s difficult to explain but her ability to be fully engaged and tell a story every time she opens her mouth is quiet brilliant. And it doesn’t matter if she’s singing on stage, her instagram, or whatever, she’s all in. She sang “Don’t rain on my parade” at the live Rosie show (on Sunday from her house ^^), and while it’s pure musical theatre, it was a showstopper. Btw, she wrote Gin and Cigarettes :) and almost all the songs on the O’Farell Street album.

I LOVE watching reactions to this. The validation of my astonishment every time I hear it just does something to me. She is a BEAST.
