Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival 2022 Highlights

After a two-year break the Shoshone-Bannock Indian Festival is back! The four-day event will occur on August 11-14, 2022. The Fort Hall Festival has been an annual event since 1964, and includes festivities such as a large powwow, Arts & Craft Vendors, Art show, Indian Relay Races, Rodeo, Traditional Buffalo & Salmon feast, Royalty Contest, Softball, Hand Game, Skate Jam, Golf, and Parades. We invite you to join us in Fort Hall this summer.

Specials took over the entire pow wow event. The dancer got push back to perform pass midnight. Dancers travel far to perform and yet they wait 8 hrs later after the grand entry. By then they are tired. Give the Specials a time limit. (30 to 45 mins) All and all it was fun to be back. Thank you Shoshone-Bannock community for your hospitality. Again next year..
