DJ JDB Well Vlad better be prepared if its wilder. One shot and we know how weak Vlads chin can be. Wilder is also just as big as wlad so he won't be able to just lay on wilder for the whole fight.
@MGB189 жыл бұрын
***** Wlad will be ready for either one. Funny you mention chins. Deontays's chin has never been tested, because as (Tyson, Jones, Holyfield, Foreman and others have said) Deontay hasn't fought anyone worthy of even talking about. Bermane will be his first Real challenge. Now we all know Bermane can hit hard! If Bermane nails Deontay's chin I guess we'll find out how good that chin is. Be that as it may, Wlad will fight the winner of this fight in a Huge Event.
@boxingisthebestfool9 жыл бұрын
DJ JDB Exactly right man. That's what makes this fight so fucking awesome. If Deontays chin turns out to be great he has the tools to beat Wlad. Even with the chin though i wish Deontay could get some more fights after the bermaine fight and not just step up to fighting Wlad right away. He needs more experience and time to harness his skills against better opposition. I guess we will find out on the 17th. CANT FUCKING WAIT
@MGB189 жыл бұрын

Lewis vs Klitchko was the last HW fight I was pumped about, this is the latest one in all honestly both of these guys would have been sparring partners at best 15 years ago. But this is the state of the HW division, I got Wilder on this one I dislike him but he is a boxer and what counts is what he does in the ring, if he uses his reach and speed Stiverne will be eating leather all night he is too static and depends way too much on the counter while lying on the ropes that is where Wilder can expose him and send him home KO'ed and with out his belt.

@boogiecakes54679 жыл бұрын
***** you're ignoring the blatant fact of KO ratios. lol. I suspect 32 KO's of 33 wins is no Knockout power and every boxer does this? In all honesty, Wider's skills is nothing fancy, but his stature is what provides the inertia to hit hard and any pro boxer will tell you strength is something you're born with. It doesn't matter what excuse. At 33 fights Wilder already outshines Klitschko. Wlad's first challenge for a title was against 44 year old Byrd. Wilder hits harder than Corrie Sanders if you know what I mean.. =P
@boogiecakes54679 жыл бұрын
***** Klistchko is 10 years older than Wilder. It's beyond fact that the HW division lost interest after Lewis and Tyson left. Pacquiao, Mayweather, and De La Hoya changed boxing as of late. Look at Klitschko's defenses, who big or popular were any of those names? Fury hasn't even won a World Title yet....

These guys are not fighting for the world heavyweight title. They are fighting for the WBC belt. Wladimir Klitschko is the heavyweight champion of the world. The only reason he did not add the WBC belt to his collection is that his brother held it until retiring and the Klitschko brothers would not fight each other.

This is a great fight since either man can win. Both can punch, both have good amateur records, both are hungry for the spotlight. Stiverne is the more tested though but Wilder has fought atleast some decent names that have challenged for titles and acually held some. Can't wait for this fight and I don't really know who is going to win. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy a heavyweight title fight where you cant' predict the outcome from a mile away.

@youssoufmoussa38749 жыл бұрын
This is going to be a very dangerous fight for both fighters because they both possess the assets to eliminate each other. I guess it all boils down to who uses these assets properly. Stivern has technique and power on his side while power to match him as well as athleticism belongs to Wilder. As for defense, Stivern knows it while Wilder is capable of mastering it to gain an upper hand, if he does it right; With his athleticism anything is possible. That Olympic bronze medal Wilder possesses certainly makes a statement. My personal opinion, I give this fight to Wilder because his height could play a major role in earning him a victory. But he'll have to come in DISCIPLINED, meaning he has to take his time try and box diligently to win and he has all the athleticism in the world to do it, and if patient enough, a knockout can be dished out as well. But if he comes in undisciplined, over confident and hasty, it'll be all Stivern needs to sleep em in a short night on Showtime, and he has the power, technique and patients to get it accomplished. For Wilder, this fight really boils down to what he does right and for Stivern, what Wilder does wrong.
@guvnoir239 жыл бұрын
Excited for this fight! Too close to call. Stiverne is a a slow starter, and that's worrisome for the early barrages that Wilder comes with. But Stiverne is very hard counter-puncher so he may be able to catch Wilder coming in. I like Stiverne's chances much more the longer the fight goes. The winner should hopefully face Klitchko. I'd pick Wlad over Stiverne. Wlad's style, while boring as of late, is extremely effective against shorter guys. I don't see Stiverne being able to get off because of Wlad's grapple game, and getting worn out from constantly having Wlad lean on him. I would actually pick Wilder to beat Klitchko. Wilder's size and strength would prevent Wlad from being able to push him around and lean on him. Wlad's chin is weak, and Wilder's power is real. Wlad is the superior boxer, but I think Wilder would make it into a dog fight and get Wlad out of there early.
