Benavidez and his fam live/train near the town I grew up in. One time I was walking down the aisle at the local grocery store and he was behind me and accidentally stepped on my shoe and apologized about it twice. Based of his body language and how he reacted to what had happened I could just tell how humble he is as a man. I went on to ask him if he was Benavidez, he confirmed and dabbed me up, even asked if I wanted to take a pic. 🤝🏽 Been one of my fave fighters since that day. #teambenavidez

I always thought that if Caleb Plant would sit down on his punches he'd be a lot to handle. Defensively he's always been excellent, and his ribg IQ is superp. His problem has always been that he never had enough "gun" to make an elite fighter respect him enough to win with his old style. He learned this the hard way against Canelo. With his renewed commitment to sitting on punches, he's a scary prospect to deal with.
