So APPARENTLY everyone was wondering as to why I hadn't commented on this song yet despite it being only like, what, 1 hour old? *shot* BUT HERE I AM! You can all go back home now. *bricked* But Wait! There is an awesome song here to listen to instead 83 I mentioned this once before, but I love the sorta half-liquid style you gave this (totally on purpose), instantly reminded me of NaCP's Lunar EP. But still, this really has its own sound to it~ Love the melody, it really powers through the whole song

This piece starts off with a rich, deep sound - hits on a lot of levels, complex enough that it isn't too repetitive or boring - and gets in your face quickly, before going back down to a sort of slow build. I like that a lot better than the electronic pieces that just sort of slow-boil all through the first two minutes. By the time the first minute has passed, the audience knows there's more going on here than just a bassline and a hook on repeat. When the song kicks up to full-throttle around 1:40, the audience is completely ready for it. And that's no mean feat, because it definitely hits on a lot of levels, with a lot of sounds at once. It sounds similar to a classically-trained musician's take on electronic (Which I'm guessing is what's going on), and that's not a bad thing. You asked for advice, so all I think I'd say is that the progression of the higher-pitched electronic sound (Which serves as a sort of high-point melody past the 2-3 minute mark) has a lot more room for evolution. You start to add more to it around 4 minutes, but it fades out almost immediately. That almost guitar-like growling sound you added to it was intriguing. I often find the best electronic high-note melodies are the ones that sound like vocals, so maybe try arranging it like that. Overall, thumbs up. This is a solid piece, I enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed this. I don't mind the occasional absence of vocals, sometimes it's just nice to experience music without having anything to interpret. I agree with others that a bit more complexity or variation might work out well, so I'd definitely be interested in hearing more of this style from you. (\

I'm a little late to the comments here aren't I? Gersh dern it! Anyway, I have to say man, I personally am not a huge fan of trance or house music. I find that I really have to concentrate on not zoning out when I listen to it, and yes, I think this was rather repetitive, but as opposed to most other elecronic/trance/house songs, I actually found myself able to stay engaged through the entirety of the song, and what I heard was really incredible! Don't get me wrong, I personally prefer some of your other songs that have lyrics (*cough* Pegasus Device *cough* *cough* Soldiers of the Night *cough*) *clears throat* pardon me... ...but yeah, overall I really liked this, and the fact that you said that you've not tried this genre of music previously makes this that much more impressive! Really well done man, and I look forward to the next one :)

Morning Mist became one of my favorite songs due to its lyrics and melody. Here, the melody is quite good as well. It´s catchy and it does feels like dubstep. It´s not one of my favorite genre, but this is a piece I most certainly like, even though if you weren´t the one who did it I probably wouldn´t have given a chance. It´s not a master piece; as yourself clarified, it´s an experiment, but an experiment with a positive reaction. In any case, nice job. I prefer your other works, but improving and experimenting is a vital part of music. So, if you decide to maintain this direction I´ll keep listening, and if you don´t I´ll do so as well. So don´t worry about me.
@MadPathfinder10 жыл бұрын
I'm not really fun of electronic, plus I enjoy your lyrics, so I kinda have higher hopes when I clicked it. It is not bad in any way I can point out, but this one I will probably not listen again. I'll be waiting for your next one. Cheers
