Well what these people been using? Window Movie maker? I used shotcut because da vince and blender way much more tougher... As any rational person, shotcut might be my favorite but tech wise capcut really more advanced.. I might use capcut to cut down those work... Just don't like the money hogs, tictoc going around capcut, i got the feeling it will turn into Apple's mentality...

Old comment ik, but Blender's video editor lacks a lot of features other video editing software (even free ones) have. Speaking of, Capcut is freemium (free w/ limited features) and Shotcut is completely free, as it seems.

EJ tech don't use capcut its a security risk. This is because its own by the same company that made tiktok. Also capcut can see any video/image you upload and its stored on their servers

Shotcut is free, period. Capcut is free only with a very restricted version and their paid version is subscription only, which is an absolute deal breaker afaic. Then there's the TikTok connection...

I download Shotcut because I was going for DavinCi Resolved, but the moment, DavinCi asked me to fill some personal information like my address, email, name and Phone Number I decide to peace out. So I decide to watch this video to see if Shotcut is worthy, or should I go with CapCut?
