I think Mutahar stupidly thinks that Chud and that commentary circle wants him to denounce his friendship with Nux because they don't like Nux when if you actually seen Chuds content and know his general thoughts, he probably wouldn't actually care nor be bothered if Mutahar wants to stay friends with Nux, he just wants Mutahar to be honest and stop weaseling and pussy footing around. If he literally just said 'I know Nux did some bad things but I want to look past that because he's my friend regardless what others think", it may be cringe but we'd all respect that honesty much more than what he's doing. I know this from experience. I had a friend in my past who was a pretty unliked person, he didn't do anything illegal or wrong, he was just hated for reasons even as a friend I understand why. But I still chose to be friends with said friend because that's just who I am and said friend has been good to me. I don't like Nux because I find his voice annoying but what I think shouldn't matter, if Mutahar wants to be friends with him, I and many have no issue. We're just tired of his weasly awkward behaviour around this whole thing.

Pretty much. I disliked alot of his dishonesty too. He thinks his audience are just stupid when he says things dumbfoundedly, “Nux did that kind of stuff?” like he didnt know. Especially with that Ava Tyson stuff he’s like really going at beast for it saying “how could you not know. “ When the same could slightly apply to him and nux. Maybe he just doesnt see the loli/anime stuff as bad as most of the commentary guys do, cause they are adamantly against. So maybe he’s like lowkey dying on lolihill kind of thing?

I’m super curious on who is this “Everybody” Muta said he talked to. He didn’t talk to the major drama channels. (You, Chud, and Nick) While he already apologized to Nux. That can only mean he’s lying, or he for whatever reason talked to that taiga person? Either way it looks like Muta is clawing his way out of it, while jingling the keys that “OG content is back.” When all he had to do is stick to his guns. (No matter what side he chose) It’s a shame cause this pretty much shown his true colors when put into pressure. I think he’ll be fine, but man it’s gonna be hard for people to take him seriously after this.

I've unsubbed from Mutahar. His regular content is decent but I just feel other youtubers like Wendigoon do far better jobs at the topics and it's hard to watch said videos when he's a pretty weasly character. Nobody wants Mutahar to have some downfall or anything like that, he doesnt even have to denounce nux, hell he could still be friends with nux and nobody would care, we just want him to be honest. Which he isn't. He's a coward. He doesn't even have to make a full video adressing it. Just at least like tommy said, speak to them. Even privately. If Chud, Nick and Tommy, just said, Mutahar had a private chat with us and cleared things up, I'd respect that. But he ain't. He's a weasly coward. Absolute coward.

Why are you taking it personally that he said he got caught up in the slop content? He used to do more tech stuff and serious things and instead pivoted but wants to go back to what he did before. He's taking it personally because it appears things Muta said singled Tommy out, and Muta stated he's resolved things with "everyone," but hasn't spoken to Tommy. Then there are Muta's statements about "slop," when he was happy to spend the 4th of July at Keemstar's house, be directly involved in Boogie's fake cancer call-out, and treat commentary creators as friends before and since then. Suddenly now, he views commentary content as beneath him and has ghosted his friends in commentary. It's all snake behavior that Muta could have avoided if he had just ignored Hasan's segment on him, Nux, and loli. It's beyond spineless

@marvelprince Tommy explains that some KZbinrs who make scripted videos are jealous of the volume of content creators in commentary who stream can produce and insult those creators by calling it lazy content and slop (if I understood Tommy correctly). Tommy was offended by that for several reasons, including the fact that Muta has been making commentary/drama content for 5 years at this point. I hope I'm helping clarify things. I'm not trying to be argumentative and sometimes I come off that way. I hope my replies to you aren't reading that way.
