I'm a veterinary student studying histology with a teacher who isn't very good. You have helped me pass my finals! THANK YOU! You may want to consider doing a set of animal (non-human/primate) histology slides. I realize many specimen are from non-human sources, but things like claws, hoof, and comparative histology would be a lifesaver. Us animal people would LOVE it, and be forever grateful! You are gifted, thank you for your help!

WDC, nope, I'm not kidding. I've watched several of your videos over the year and they have been very helpful for my histology studying. I'm finishing up the final week of my first year in medical school right now. So thanks again for all your work producing these videos.

Hello, I have found on Wikipedia that: "The term apocrine sweat gland is a misnomer. While it was once thought that apocrine sweat glands were true apocrine glands, it is now known that they use merocrine excretion. However, they have retained the original name." Is it true? and if it is then apocrine and eccrine sweat glands mechanism of secretion is the same or I misunderstood something?

you should offer these videos as a teaching material for many universities, I will rather have those in class than a certain types of professors...

The only thing I'm missing in your videos is the equine hoof. Oh well, we can't have anything, and I know I can't as you to do veterinary histology too

hello. could you explain to me why is it that the ducts of the glands are darker that the area that secretes? I don't like memorizing things withouth understanding them. And thank you for the lovely video :)
@apatty9411 жыл бұрын
that makes sense, do you know why they do that? is it to concentrate the secretion? :)
