i played this then watched T1 and T2. it's crazy how much it actually works with the storyline. the developers are extremily small studio, i wasnt expecting much but the music feels like they hired a top notch composer.. despite the rambo fuck up, they redeemed themselves abit with this one. if a new terminator games comes in the future, i want these guys to do it again. they are real fans of the terminator franchise and they understand the story.

The moment the light in the Terminator's eyes goes out, the moment the music swells, I'm not ashamed to say that it almost brought tears to my eyes. And actually playing it through... This is my Terminator 3 now. Thank you, Teyon.

It quickly became one of my lifetime Favorite games. But maybe only because I have a unique bond with the franchise. I am grateful for the developers and I don't mind the price tag either!

9:24 was the definitive moment for me in the game, when you climb up the slope to the last area. The theme subsides just moments before and rises again for the last push. Just epic. Most memorable moment for me in any game that I have played.

This entire bit was astounding. I love it because I feel the whole game you are bullied into hiding from Skynet and scavenging just enough to get by. So many intense moments of barely having enough to defend yourself and feel like you have enough for the next encounter. Lots of hiding early on too. This mission was an all out assault and felt like great revenge and like your side was standing up to them with amazing resources. The music was amazing. What a great game.

When salvation originally came out, everyone was super peeved that it was mostly daytime scenes and everyone is still using bullets rather than plasma rifles.

@@derek96720 To a degree u r correct. But isn't Salvation supposed to be taking place earlier in the conflict with the machines? Its literally 30 years after the nukes dropped when we see Kyle Reece and the resistance in the desperate situation we see inthe flashbacks. The plasma rifles would've come eventually just not immediately after the start of the conflict. Which is why we see John Conner as a grunt instead of the actual leader of the resistance. Wake up and smell the coffee, some people on this fanbase just luv the negativity & can't wait to dunk on every film that isn't the 1st and 2nd that they actually derailed a good film (i.e., Salvation). Is it perfect? No, but perfection was never the franchise's problems. Its the God awful subsequent films that followed.

My point was that people waited for decades to see a film about the future war as it's depicted in the first two films, and that isn't what we got. Films set in the future are always gonna be budget busting films, meaning failure is not an option. But when u have a fanbase as unreasonable as this one failure is almost inevitable, so I'm not surprised they slashed any ideas of a sequel film set in the future and just stuck to what's safe (nonsensical time travel), hence the dumpster fires we've gotten ever since. I think capitalism and the need for box office success is to blame for this stifling of art. Indeed this is the 'future war' we all wanted and Hollywood could not deliver and NEVER will, this story ties T1 and T2 perfectly, it is how the Terminator franchise concludes. Wish a fan film can do it justice and does this entire game in movie mode...but it has to be done with the same production that the 'Hunter Killer' fan film is made.

The fact that this mission starts with the iconic John Connor hallway scene got me so hyped. I practically got chills because it was like getting transported right into the films. While I will admit this game isn't for everyone, this IS much better than the multimillion dollar blockbuster bombs that claimed to be Terminator movies. I completed this game last week on my Steam Deck Oled. Which runs and plays like a charm on it by the way. But this game kicked ass and really surprised me. Had tons of fun with it. That last final battle was so damn epic. The music made it even more awesome. I had goosebumps all over. Fantastic game!! 👍👍❤️

In the Pescadero level you have to sneak by Terminators or let hacked turrets kill them for you because trying to engage them solo would be suicide. In the final push you're mowing them down with plasma miniguns and one-shotting them with headshots. It's a perfect encapsulation of how mankind triumphed over Skynet.

I noticed the major differences in Connor and Baron in the way they lead their brigades, how they make decisions, how their allies treat them and vice versa. Connor is composed and made decisions that benefits and protects everyone. Baron often lashes out and becomes very personal with her allies. Connor's brigades are very composed as well in that they almost don't talk during the battlefield at all, only to give warnings and positions. Baron's brigades often cuss, and yell at machines. When Connor walks around the base, everyone salutes him to give him respect. While Baron walks around the base, she's basically ignored. I think to conclude, the way you lead, make decisions, and treat your brigade can give soldiers a big impression of yourself

This was a super Meh game mechanics wise, the AI was so dumb, but it was literally the coolest Terminator game EVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I got goose bumps playing it. The music, the lighting, the scenery, all of it just combined into the most faithful adaptation of any terminator anything, since terminator 2.

@@JohnKill3DGaming word, I played it on the highest difficulty as I do with any game, my problem is if there is always an exploit in a game, I will abuse it, and in this if you just walk out of enemy range of agro, they just walk away backwards not shooting and you can just shoot them. Regardless of the AI, I really do hold this game in very very very high regards. It really is just faithful as heck.

I enjoyed this game so much. It just sucks that I suffered from the reset bug that reset my level, skills, inventory and forced you to get the worst ending. I was worried that this would be a game-breaking bug as I no longer had the level and skills unlocked to be able to wield plasma weapons to defeat the terminators in this last mission. Thankfully that wasn’t the case as I was able to still use those guns. But it would have been really nice to be able to use all my bombs, rockets, etc that I collected throughout the game in this last section.

I think that No Fate Quest Complete is a subtle jab at Dark Fate. I wouldn’t doubt that during production, the developers knew how bad Dark Fate was and added that at the last minute to show how superior they are and that movie doesn’t count and shouldn’t be canon.

I was okay with having Jacob decide he was done since Jennifer and her brother lived, he gets to go find them, but not so much when everyone is dead. Then ya really have to fix the mistakes and die.
