Very Cool way to preserve wood and better that its chemical free. A few bars and Restaraunts actually use this wood finish on paneling to look chick and cool ! And it does !

I was looking at this method a few days ago. They were binding 3 boards together and had a fire in the middle. Is there a way to speed up the process with just a sander, instead of the steel wool?
