This video's only been out for a day, so we might just need to let this cook, but this video needs to be viral. You did such a good job at comparing Christian beliefs to fantasy roleplay. I think the other bit of panic that you didn't mention that people are scared of is: If your character did it, and you're controlling your character, then you're having thoughts of doing this yourself, and thought is a precursor to sin. Therefore, if your character does this evil thing, then YOU are evil.

I appreciate your kind words! And I agree that was an oversight, I do know that is a common fear!

As a lifelong Jesus loving Christian, I would say definitely yes. Playing D&D has provided many many nights of fellowship and good memories with family and friends.

I'm from a Christian family and I LOVE D&D. It was thanks to playing it in High School that I gained the inspiration, ideas and confidence needed to write a short story; which would later become a chapter in the very first book I would publish

Goodness I remember mostly all of this! Now the Pope has a anime cartoon character which is amazing. I think anyone can play if they want to as long as there is respect for the other religions that maybe sitting at the table too. Like a good balance of respect. Like in session 0 we all get around and say what we are unable to do in game, which we should be understanding of the people who cannot do things RPing even when their beliefs contradict certain actions. I am not a Christian but I welcome them at the table as much as the next person besides me. D&D is a safe space that we all go on adventures and save the world. Become friends and escape the chaos of the real world even for a moment.
