The reason I play Fortnite is not because I enjoy "killing" perse, it’s because it’s a game that requires IQ, quick reflexes, good hand-eye coordination, and I get to put all of these to the test against other people. So, when I kill someone, my rush doesn’t come from the kill in and of itself, but rather from the fact that I showed myself to be better than the other person in those regards. Basically the same thrill as being better than others at any sport. The fact that practice and perseverance pay off is a good lesson to pull from video games. I also very much enjoy the communication aspect, the teamwork aspect and the fact that it allows me to hang out with friends from a distance. In sum, the violence of it doesn’t attract me, it’s that usually, shooter games are a great test of hand-eye coordination, reflexes and accuracy.

I think that the core question to ask is if the actions I perform in the video game are sinful in real life then I shouldn’t do it. This is pretty easy to apply. For instance, would I steal stuff, do drugs, or go to strip clubs in real life? No! So games like grand theft auto are easily counted out. Would it be wrong for me to mine, fight bad monsters, etc, in real life? No, so Minecraft is okay. I actually don’t support call of duty because the game revolves around killing people for fun. I would say that is not honoring to God. Even if there are some redeeming qualities like teamwork, you still can’t get around the core part of the game. Yes there is teamwork, but the teamwork objective is to kill other people for fun. To say that is good is like saying watching porn with my friends is good because of the fellowship and bonding and art. That is totally bogus and we all know it.

I don't quite agree with this video, although I understand your points. I have no idea what Fortnite is about, but I think I got it based on what I'm seeing. Although I have played other videos games growing up. Videos games should be treated just like anything in the media, fake or real. Our culture has been so desensitized in what the Bible calls sin (fornication, murder, New Age, witchcraft, stealing, cheating, etc...) because they've been turned into entertainment in our movies, TV shows, video games. I used to have the same view because I grew up playing and watching all these things. Spiritual maturity, wisdom is required to break free of that type of thinking.

By the way, I also wanted to point out that it's not about being legalistic. It's about viewing the world through the lens of God, through the Bible (His Word). You'll become extra sensitive to the wickedness of the world as you get closer to God. And this process doesn't have to take YEARSSSS either, like most people tend to say. It takes 72 hours to read the whole Bible. If you set some time apart everyday, you can re-read the Bible over and over in one year and pray to gain knowledge and wisdom at the same time. Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best example of a game compatable with Christianity. Let me explain. The main story you are an outlaw. But you can free roam and do anything. The honor meter allows you to do noble things. Give money to the homeless. Save people from being eaten by wolves, pumas or grizzly. Kill kkk members. Turn in criminals. Or you can hunt and craft outfits from pelts. You can cook animals. Fish. Play poker, blackjack, and dominos. You can buy and sell in stores. You can break horses and tame them. Race people. Have shooting contests in the wilderness. You don't have to do evil after the tutorial. Except for when an outfit calls for a farm animal and you have to poach someone's livestock bc the animal is only found on farms.

You talk about video game titles. What about games like Doom or Diablo? Devil is literally the name of the game but you kill demons for an arch angel. Ill also say I don't see many people that play games that enjoy killing people for it. From call of duty to killing chickens in Minecraft with there own eggs. Most people don't kill chickens in Minecraft because they enjoy torturing chickens, they do it cause its funny and its a binary code in a VIDEO GAME not real life. Those same people wouldn't kill a chicken in real life if they needed to, to survive. From killing them to survive to getting happiness from them through comfort. Genesis 1:26 says "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth" This is a video game, not real life. If someone finds killing chickens in Minecraft comforting via humor I personally see no problem with it. If they see that in real life, we have an issue. I mean the way I see it’s about surviving just like minecraft, there’s no blood , and it’s family friendly. I don’t see nothing wrong with it the thing is I have my mom buy me a lot of cards playing video games isn’t bad of course depending on what you are playing . I used to play gta 5 a lot . And that’s all guns and all blood. Of course people would rather you shoot in a game then irl , but still as you get older and grow up you start to understand you’ll have more responsibilities in life. Bless you brother 💯❤️

He forgot to do homework and listening god but he was stuck and not eating healthy food. He told his mother and dad to buy currency game and it’s called vbucks, his mum and dad refused and shout “NEVER” then when child heard it he was furious, he planned to steal mums credit and giving more credits for developers so he can buy more and what he did is he got 50.000 vbucks he bought many skins to pretend cooler. Bible Verses: junior 1.12.100 I said “why this child ruining mums life? Why is he buying more vbucks for no hope and love for me?” The mother shout at his son and she said “son where is my credit why it says I have 0 cash? The kid was afraid to tell his mum because if he tell truth he will punished. He told his mother “it wasn’t me” and keeps lying. His mother ignored and the kid was safe but he was researching video why fortnite sucks and he got triggered then he sent hate comment to anyone he was reporting and disliking while he got more hated. He is known having autism he failed the test and he got punished by his parents he is no longer to play pc until 2 weeks ago but the kid screamed and cried. When he was 19 he is not going to college because he failed everything and since parents died he going to be addicted fortnite forever. The bible of junior tells us why fortnite is sin so that’s why I called it
