I ride a RG , to me it feels like a bigger bike . Being 6'4" 280 pounds I need all the room I can get . I added the tall man seat and 14" apes. I feel and look better on my RG than I ever did on the SG .

I just traded in my Sharkskin Blue 2024 SG for a 2024 Whiskey Fire RG. I loved the look and ergonomics of the SG but I didn’t like the weight of the front fairing on the SG in all aspects.

I own a street glide. Always loved street glides. That 2024 road glide has me rethinking my choice though. BUT…I’m seeing a lot of issues with both 2024 street and road glides. New model year, new design. I think I’m going to wait till the bugs get worked out, and make my decision next year. Those prices tho!!!! Hard to pass up!!!!

I think the Street Glide looks better. I had a 2019 Road Glide Ultra and liked it but ended up with a Sport Glide and put a bigger batwing on it from Memphis Shades. The only reason I would get a Road Glide over the Street is for the taller handle bars and easier to change them.

I've been a batwing guy for 20 years but just bought a new CVO Whiskey Neat Road glide with the changes like the look much more on the Road Glide. And since riding my new road glide just feels much more nimble with the frame mounted fairing.

The RG is better at highway more smoother...with that being said it isn't enough for me to get off my SG...I just love the look of the Batwing and the ride is not bad just not as good...not enough to change my mind...SG for life😊❤

Standing off to the side RG is beautiful but for riding its SG all the way I'd absolutely love to have both, either one would be amazing to own but, gun to my head it's Street Glide it checks the classic harley davidson history box, and FOR ME SG is a more confident and comfortable ride

Batwing 24/7/365. The form of the batwing flows much better and looks better to my eyes. It looks like it was formed with the wind. The Road Glide fairing still looks like a big chunk of bodywork bolted on that doesn’t flow with the rest of the bike and it’s leaning in the opposite direction from the rest of the bike. Buy the Street Glide Tall!!!

The white pearl onyx up close in real life is the most gorgeous stock paint color I ever seen. Yea they got special colors all the time … like that snake venom they did in 2020 or whenever it was .. stuff like that .. but for a regular color .. oh man.

If not for the smaller form factor Harley could easily discontinue the Street Glide. More & more people are gonna start riding & continue riding the Road Glide. It's the bike that just makes more sense.

I own a 2021 road glide and a 2024 street glide. I feel the street glide is more arrow dynamic with the redesign of the bat wing just my opinion

So I'm tall too, 6'2" and the Street Glide just "fits" better and more "into" the bike. The Road Glide everything including the new infotainment is literally a "reach" to use touch screen. I know you can use the buttons, but i like to use touch and see the screen MUCH better on a Street Glide. The Road Glide is very big and bulky, Street Glide is much more streamlined.

Street Glide all day Road Glide front end looks like its gonna fall off always has, and still looks like an after thought. Only the light design made it slightly better. Get that awesome looking Street Glide but in a different color.

I know this is kind of tongue in cheek, but I have a 2024 RG now...and prior to this I Had a 2016 Street Glide that I rode all over the Western US - all speeds and through some of the worst storms I've ever been in - it never missed a beat. Now, I haven't put the miles on the RG yet...but I think for the majority of us, and in 95% of our riding, the bikes are so similar that it boils down to what you personally prefer stylistically.

Road Glide! Here’s why, traveling on 2 lane road in Montana doing 60 mph, deer runs onto road and glances off side of my Road Glide fairing! Didn’t lose control, knocked lens off my turn signal, bounced off of bicycle I had strapped across my passenger seat! Friends riding behind me said deer went head over heels got up and ran back into the woods. I’m pretty sure I would have crashed if I were on a Street Glide because it would have torqued the fairing and bars!

I test road both and bought the SG, low speed turning was mucu easier on the RG, but i like having everything closer and i felt like the wind was smoother in the SG at highway speeds. Just hit 1k and couldnt be happier with it, came from a Chieftain

I’d be happy on either to be honest. Here is Oz the RG is more of a novelty with SG being the more popular. I really like what they have done with the new SG as well. That said, I’d probably test ride both, then end up buying a RG. Just like last time I was buying. I love how big and imposing the RG fairing looks. Massive presence on the road. I’m really keen to see where they go with the Road King from here too. Love the simplicity of that bike. It’s my hope that they make the saddle bags removable on the RK so you can ride it like a tourer or an oversized Fat Boy

If I could get afford another HD motorcycle I would go with the whiskey fire Street Glide with chrome trim. I have a 2020 ultra limited in scorched orange and silver flux, black trim. So that would fit in my stable real nice. My wife just got her Road Glide limited last year. I do agree the road glide is a beautiful ride, but I so like a ton of style and will remain in the street glide camp😎

They are basicly the same bike. You do get more protection feom bugs and rocks and wind on a street glide. Just sit on them and you can clearly see there is more coverage on a street glide. I just cant get over the fact that road glides looks like something George Jetson would ride. I like my Street Glide but the baddest bike I have ever owned was definatly the FatBoy. Both Street Glide and road glide riders are on grandpaw bikes anyway. We want the extra comfort where as when we first started riding we were happy on an old springer that rode lile crap. 😂

Isn't the new 24 RG fairing supposed to be even better through the wind? Over the past 20+ years I've had 4 Batwings and now I am now on my 2nd Sharknose -- I like the room of the RG and really think the stability of the RG is better when a big semi-truck passes going the other way (that big bursting suck of air that hits you as it passes) and the RG is way soother at speed (which is where I like to ride). I was a SG devotee for a long time, but after 60k miles I am now RG all the way. (But I will admit the new 24 SG Batwing is really cool looking.) At the end of the day, test ride both and buy what YOU like!

REMEMBER Tall, when you eliminate all the other possibilities, no matter how unbelievable the results may be - the results are the truth.
