Are you considering setting up a SMSF or you’ve already have one?

I am considering setting up a SMSF .. to buy an investment property and perhaps have the option of buying another in the future. This video has been very helpful to give me further understanding in this journey. Even though I haven't been investing so much in my life, I have lately taken up the research aspect and find that there is a lot to learn, but I really enjoy it and have an understanding now that I did not have six or seven months ago. 😀

I set my SMSF up mainly to buy my own office business, so the rent I paid goes to my super balance. Capital appreciation over time helps it further. The other 50% of its balance is buying shares money.

I won’t set one up. Can’t even manage my simple share portfolio properly. No time, no money and I barely have that much in my normal industry fund. Not worth it for me.

It does require a lot of time and efforts to run it!

There’s too much in retail funds. People should wake up and get out of those rip off retail funds.
