tbh, I love your Cassidy man, in my opinion you can still play Cass in this season but you can't go do anything crazy as much as last SS, I am Cass main too and I think the falloff nerf really impact when you are facing sniper/flyer heroes.

I hate fat cass so much, sucks to play as and sucks to play against. His kit wasn't designed to be a short range dps (he doesn'thave the mobility to force short range duels), but they force him to be with god awful number tweaks (extra health and reduced range). Pisses me off so much that they ruined such a satisfying character for "design vision", just make him 250 so he can be a threat at mid range again ffs...

Soldier isn’t inherently good or bad. His kit is very middle of the road/ Jack of all trades, but if he’s played well and has the right supports Soldier can be pretty oppressive. On his own with no support a bad Soldier is at worst useless and a good one is annoying, but a good soldier with a good team can be pretty hard to deal with. His dps isn’t the best but with the rocket for burst damage a good soldier can do some work on the backline quickly. I love soldier cause of his versatility and honestly the simplicity of the kit makes me feel like I need to rely more on game mechanics to do well with him. Soldier slaps with a good team but on his own he’s really just a basic bitch. He gives you a chance to experiment with flanks fairly safely and change up how you deal damage to secure the right kills quickly.

Never have i played a character in a FPS game where i dont feel good landing my shots before I played the Overwatch 2 rendition of Mccree. Half the time it feels like im shooting confetti at them and even landing headshots at long range are the equivalent of a light breeze on their health bar and that just doesnt feel good on your end. What were they thinking making the char who isnt suited for close range be a close range effective hero. Hes just meh and at mid range and the equivalent of a horsefly bite at any range after that. Sometimes i feel like they want him to be bad on purpose for pandering purposes on account of what the guy he was named after did.

I feel like sometimes when I play cass into certain comps I get no value and sometimes he pops tf off I play like 6 dps all at about the same level I'm like diamond 2 ish climbed from gold 1 2 seasons ago cass is in my hero pool but sometimes I play cass hit my shots just seems like you can't secure kills sometimes.

Soldier isn't bad - he's just bad against dive, and right now dive is very good. If they're not running dive, soldier gets plenty of value.

It's strong. Coming from me I've used cree for over 1000 hours and it's good. What does it need? Faster cooldown. Why tf is it 12 seconds. 10 was fine. And it's simply not his meta rn he's supposed to be anti flanker/dive but dive is so strong he just gets run over. Only way to make him work is it your WHOLE team plays protect the president and makes sure they let you cook. Lots of 225 hp characters he can 2 tap more reliably and with dmg boosts he can head shot body alot of the cast too. So give him 10 sec stun and keep quality of life changes coming for his ult since it's still a joke.

@@NamelessDream Thanks for your comment, but it seems like the E ability was better when ow2 was first released (700 hours cass) because that E ability could melt tanks and was more suitable for my play style. But the current e ability is about stunning and quickly killing the opponent, but you can do this with headshots and this way it just makes it easier. And the fact that he can't melt the tank when he already has so much damage may explain why his e ability is worse now (for me)

Yes, Cassidy is very bad : his kit has nothing to offer, so unless he does damage, and he's not at the moment, there's no reason to choose him. You should try Illari, with your aim you'll do great
