Keep the yellow cabinet in the pantry. It is like a ray of sunshine there. - If you cannot find a place for the new cabinet in your living room area anywhere, then sell it with a profit and let the new owner decide wether to paint it or not. ❤ Yup I agree to keep the yellow cabinet, it's too cute! . It fits like a glove. The brown cabinet is gorgeous but it seems to be a struggle to make it work. Something like trying to make a great pair of size 7 heels 👠 🤔 fit a size 8 foot. No matter how pretty the shoes are they just don't quite fit comfortably. Too bad. Can't use it on the deck I guess 😢 ??

I love the table cloth, it just brings up the whole place up another level. You love plants and your home is full of them and the table cloth somehow amplifies the feeling in a very harmonious way... I see everyone says yellow cabinet and I think so too... I do like the new cabinet but not for the pantry, not in front of the window... but, if you were to paint it and use it for that location, it would not be bad either.

Hi Brooke, So many of the comments say the same as I want to say, keep the yellow cabinet in the pantry! However, I would try to live with the new piece a little longer. It is so unusual in it size, shape, height, and those gracefull legs! I suggest trying it in the living room, between the wall and the tall black cabinet. It balances out the almost overwhelming height of that cabinet. All the wall decor would have to go up a bit, but that would balance it out better, too. Mayb at the top of the stairs? The those graceful lrgd would stand out as you com up, and the whole piece would stand out as your prepare to go down. Please don't paint it until you can find its true place. If you don't, you can, as was suggested, sell it for a good profit. It is treasure, if not for your home, it definitely will find its perfect home. I, too, just love the look of the wood, maybe not so reddish and of course, without the nicks and chips. Really enjoy all you do, gardening, thifting, diy and cooking! God bless you! Patricia

That little cabinet is so pretty and elegant, it’s worth fighting for, lol. I would have run up the stairs with it, too. 😂 I wouldn’t be in a hurry to part with it (I would keep it the color it is and either refinish or restore it with Restore-A-Finish, but my decor is different from yours). The yellow cabinet is a better fit for Bob. I’d look around inside for a better fit; it’s too elegant for the pantry. LOVE the fabric on the table; it looks great with green next to the black zebra stripe. Very chic! I’d keep it on the table and put a glass top over it to protect it. But maybe that’s not practical for every day living.😅

I like the yellow best in that location, good job with the stencil. My mandevilla plant could not stand the heat this summer and died, but we will have a long warm fall here in Texas, so I planted some cucumbers and squash in the big pot with a trellis in late July (all the morning glory seeds were sold out at Wallyworld and Dollar General) and the elephant ear plants were large enough to provide the seedlings with some needed shade in August, had a yellow bloom on the cucumber vine on the trellis this a.m., hoping for some big squash blossoms on the ground around the base of the big terra cotta pot. If I get a cucumber I'll make a sandwich and I love squash for making zucchini bread. Your morning glories so beautiful.😊

I loved when you stood back and we could see the whole living space. You can really appreciate the pops of yellow/gold that accent the white black and wood. Wow--we are cut from the same cloth--this is a page out of my life! The clhallenges and messes I love to create for myself--hahaha! Gorgeous piece. If it were me, I would trim the legs down so it would be the right height for beside the chair. I know most are shuddering at the thought, but I go to great lengths to make things work so I don't have to part with them! I would also paint it in a distressed finish and do a decoupage french pastoral scene in one of the "paneled" areas. Good luck deciding!

It’s hard. I’m trying to decide which color to paint the walls here. They are builder white because I wanted white ceilings. I’m leaning towards assessable beige by Sherman Williams. Afraid it’s going to be too dark, especially in the winter months. I just don’t want white which is what my husband wants. I did the front hallway last month and just love it in the accessible beige but it’s a small space.

I like the yellow cupboard it fits the space and its a happy color . I would sell the other cabinet and while its pretty it just doesn't seem to fit in your apartment. I loved the green material you had on the kitchen table . It is gorgeous

I love it too. It’s just not working and it’s blocking the window. It’s too tall is 4 feet off so I think I’m going back to the yellow pretty sure.

I have the same problem with loving things but nowhere to put them! Your home is so perfect. It feels like a Parisian apartment. Unfortunately, I think the yellow cabinet is a better fit……..hopefully if you sell the new piece, you can make some $$$… paint it black with gold accents and someone else can create their Parisian paradise ❤️

HI Brooke--You can't go wrong with either piece, but I've always loved the yellow cabinet in the pantry. Your garden still looks so nice. We've had no rain since July 1 and still triple digits every day. Hot summer!

Keep the yellow cabinet in the pantry. It’s perfect there. Can you put the new piece in bedroom? Or what about where the little table is near you dining table? Too big? The gardens are beautiful! Those ferns 🥰 Do you have to bring them all in? The beauty of that is it makes winter feel better! I’ve just started collecting plants again. I used to have tons in the house, felt so nice in winter to still have things growing around me! I need to get a fern, but I struggle with them for some reason! What’s your secret😂

Hi Brooke, please try the cabinet between your chairs. Place China doll on it, Elevation will look great. Angle the chairs to hug on the oval of coffee table. Placing your grouping of plants under the window , around the new table. Just a thought ❤. It's a beautiful cabinet, the sunshine cabinet should stay. ❤

That cloth with the green is so beautiful! You could pin or tac the sides over and make a tall, thin wall hanging with it. It would be in keeping with the plant/greenery theme you have going.A cheap rod and brackets would be all you need to hang it. It would be a crying shame to cut it up 😳.

Well, I don’t believe it a crying shame because it is fabric it’s not meant for the wall it’s meant for upholstery and I do not have any wall space to add something that large …thank you. It is a beautiful piece of fabric though isn’t it?

Is there a place in the bathroom for the cabinet? Or in the entry way downstairs? The cabinet is so unique that I don’t think you should sell it right away until you’ve checked everywhere you could possibly use it

Oh I wish I had place in the bathroom for it because it is a perfect piece for the bathroom hundred percent agree with that idea I just don’t but it would look fabulous if you had a bigger bathroom, it’s just such a beautiful piece. It’s just that fitting in my home.

I think you ought to sell that piece you just brought up the stairs. The pieces you already have look better and function more cohesively already. The yellow cabinet looks dramatic and perfect in the pantry and Bob looks awesome on top of that cabinet where the sun reaches him in just the right way.

Hi Brooke. I know you love the new one. Question is will it hold everything that the yellow one does? Will you be okay with less light in your pantry? Personally I would keep the yellow one. It’s functional, allows Bob to be happy, doesn’t stick out as far into the room along with going with the same ascetic in design. Can’t wait to see which one you choose.

Hello Brooke, I am so enamoured with that little cabinet and absolutely agree, the detail on the legs is what really draws your eye to it. It would be an absolute shame to part with it so maybe you could find a spot to store it away for the time being? Remember, you like changing things about and one day you'll know exactly where that little piece will fit nicely. I'm being totally selfish of course as I'm hoping this could be a sneaky segue to your next project and another video!
