Personally I’ve found they both have the same principles and beleif.. the study the same texts and take from the ulama HOWEVER… some are fanatical over their sheikh and are too quick to label others as innovaters. E.g. person x takes from person Y and my shaikh “refuted” person Y so if you associated with Him you’re an innovator. Madness.
