I bought a Les Paul custom in 1978 that was my pride and joy. $750 back then. Had to sell it to the local guitar store to afford some food in a tough economy. In my sixties now and wish that baby would come home. What a treat to have your Dads SG. Never part with her.

Because it’s Dads guitar I would keep it safe but use it if it’s well looked after! Make sure you lemon oil the fretboard so it doesn’t crack!

Keep it in the case, NEVER set it on a stand. My Les Paul Standard fell over on a stand and splintered the head stock. Took me years to buy. I'm still heartbroken

My father passed when I was seven I'm now 43 and have nothing from him. I believe guitars are meant to be played though. That's a special guitar. That's awesome
