I used to be a very unforgiving black and white person. Aquarius we take a lot from ppl give them chances but when we done we done game over. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized there are shades of grey and just to know where to place ppl. You can be good with ppl but know where to always place them. Everyone can’t be in your front row but you can still wish them well and peace. To many ppl I’ve known have died and I never ever want that regret. But it’s all about placement and accepting ppl for where they at. Doesn’t mean you have to live there with them. Just know ok where they are is not for me. But we human we grow through a ton and as women we really get drop kicked and deal with a lot. But you can check in you never know how low that person maybe and just a word could help to uplift them. That’s the part I learned we all mess up sometimes really bad, and we get hurt and we hurt others. So just weight out the pro’s and con’s. You know who ppl are they show you who they are. Place them where they truly need to be and know ok they can’t be in my front row, they may not even be allowed in the building but I will check in and do the human thing that may help someone. But I can’t let them back in to where we were. If that makes sense. It’s how I deal with not just friends but family who can hurt you the most. You can love them, you can forgive them. But place them where they belong that’s healthy for you. It’s the best decision the most healthy decision I’ve ever made. After losing my dad I realized I needed to make some changes about forgiveness. My dad was my best friend the light of my world the most forgiving and loving human being and I wanted to honor my dad who passed away from Covid the day after Christmas. When you lose some one that is apart of the fabric of who you are. You feel naked and exposed to the world. He was truly my person. He knew me the good the bad the ugly. My person. It took me a while it’s still hard that he is gone and I lost a good friend I had known since 9th grade. 50 years old gone. I needed to honor them and it’s only helped me to let go of stuff and not hold on to anger, or hurt, upset. Not being taken advantage of, but just knowing it’s ok to let stuff go life is to short. That my dad had challenges with ppl and hurt. But he was the lightest person I know, because he let things go and continued to love and help so many ppl. But he knew that everyone had a place and he taught me that. I hope this helps someone even if you can’t be cool with the person who hurt you in some way. Let it go for you not for them. Because it’s weighting you down and it doesn’t have to.

Girl that just happened to me and I felt like why deprive myself if they are taking up significant space in my thoughts. So i hit him up on some friendly ish but before I did, I thought of all the possible outcomes and mentally prepared for them. When I reached out we had good communication for a little while but then I got a glimpse of something that was a huge issue in the past that I used to sweep under the rug and I said nope we not doing this again. So I fell back (no long talking or argument needed). I basically feel like it was God testing me to see if I’ve grown as a person, learned to follow my intuition and uphold the values he’s instilled in me. I say that to say if they are Heavy on your mind, reach out but don’t assume it’s calling y’all to be together or be friends. It could be closure or an opportunity for you to see how far you have come by rejecting the cycle.
