That's a clean looking RSX to this day they still look amazing the RSX is a legend they sure don't make cars like they used too I like how it doesn't have all the unnecessary technology crap inside the Interior is basic and simple and that's the reason why your car will outlive all the new modern cars on the road

If the RSX-S was made today it would be my first choice of cars. A naturally-aspirated 2 liter fun hatchback that is super reliable and fun is rare. I prefer a k20 engine to the torque-dipping mess they have in the Toyota 86. A Miata is the only competition, but you can't go to Lowe's in and buy shelves in a Miata.

Very nice review of your car. I wouldn't change a thing. I just bought an '05 RSX-S two days ago. Love it love it love it. I'm probably going to add the TYPE-S badge to the front grill. I have already ordered new head lights off ebay as the original ones are just to hazzy. I tried to clean them up, but I'd rather replace them.

Thanks. Lights came yesterday, and the top left plastic bracket where a screw goes in was lying broken in the box. LOL. Oh well. I'm off this Sunday and will put on the window vent visors and front grill Type S emblem. Going to replace the power steering pump O rings as well. I may install the lights any way because the factory passenger light is broken in the same place, and the light doesn't shake when I drive and is in nice and snug. I think the seller on ebay is sending me a new pair though. I can't wait to replace those cloudy headlights. More to come I'm sure. LOL

Never get rid of the rsx reason being is that it’s a rare car and u don’t see many people driving them I have a type s and I’m pretty sure I’m the only person in a 200 mile radius that has one and that’s a fact!

Had an RSX-S just like it except it was pearl white. Had Enkei PF01 with the DC5R Brembos. You should definitely get a set! They bolt right up with s2000 front rotors.

One of the cleanest Rsx's I've seen, don't sell it.. I have thought about selling mine too but the only reason is because it's a 2002. I just replaced my timing kit which is something that should be changed at 100k and mine started to go at 127k. I know my car will last a long time and currently at 132k. They just don't make cars like the RSX nowadays. I do want to get a new paint job next summer, living in salty Iowa, I got a little paint bubbling on the rear wheel wells..

Agreed! My 2005 is at 118k and I'm finally having to do some real work on it besides clutch/rear main seal. Intermediate shaft bearing needs replacing as well as wheel bearings, and the struts have become very harsh so I will be replacing those soon. Motor/trans mounts need replacing as well. Pretty basic stuff and not too bad for it's age and mileage. Biggest complaint is Honda seemed to use the cheapest clear coat that was not meant to survive the California sunshine. It's peeling on every body panel that gets direct sunlight

Excuse me i have a Question, i'm planning on buying an RSX type s from 2002, but i also found a TL type S for 2007 with 86 more horsepower (as much as a 350z from 2004). Which car would be better to buy. The 201hp RSX? Or the 287hp TL? And just wanted to say both are Acura but i'm sure that was obvious.

Unfortunately, my opinion would be biased since I own and love my RSX Type-s. I have never really been into the TL game but great car overall. I'd say, go with what car you like the best and what you're looking to do with them. I wouldn't look at just the horsepower numbers unless that's what you're looking to build on. Even tho, the RSX can put down alot of power if done right. All in all, it's your car & what you're looking to do with it. Good luck and keep us posted!

I would snag the 2007 TL type S if it's a 6 speed as long as it doesn't have a ton of miles and has been taken care of by the previous owner. My buddy owned one except that it wasn't a manual but it was still very quick. I think the 07-08 TL Type S factory wheels are some of the best looking factory wheels made. Regardless of what you bought, hopefully you inspected the car and did a compression check on the engine. Sporty Honda & Acura models are usually known to be driven hard. It's nice when you find one that was taken care of.

Mike Bulka true. What u got your eye on since u might sell the s? One of my good friends has a 02 with a a full t4/built motor. Fun but only highway fun. All motor 250-275 whp is optimal for your app. If u decide to go boost, youll need to keep an extra 2nd and 3rd gear with shift forks. Lsd, axles is a must anything over 350. May the force be with you. Lol. ✌
