Last 12254 should be paid to < 18 years so that instead of 32.5 % they should have paid 19% and saved 13.5 % as tax

Under 18 year old will be taxed at 47% of passive income distributions over $416. therefore not a good idea. derek

Can trust distributions be paid weekly/monthly/quarterly or can it only be done at the end of the FY?

they can be paid anytime during the year. the 'declaration' is only made at 30th june each year for the total. derek
