Rohit's strike rotation game is done for because of his limited over formats. For this year his average was what 15? He fails to rough up the new ball is the reason we collapse. Kl is a bad batter at 6 because playing slow with the tail will get you nothing. While he is perfect at opening for the new ball.

@@_A.t.g exactly…another problem with Rohit , he is relying too much on his pull and his concentration for test matches is just about gone …he needs to get out from his T20 days fast …he could play test cricket for another 2-3 years but only if his position is swapped with Rahul …Rahul needs to open and Rohit probably at 6 or 7 ideally I would suggest 7 because if pant plays at 5 I think nitish should bat at 6 above Rohit and Washington that kid is the future he needs to get runs fast he is too valuable of an asset for the balance that kid will generate pace if handled well he is just 21 he can bowl at 135 given 3-4 years. As you said Rahul is practically useless at 6 ….he has nothing to do at that place …we can’t expect the old Rohit Sharma who can pile up runs and bat a day ….those days are over …he is probably 37or 38 I forgot ….at this age he can’t recover his previous mindset but the best he can do is 70 ball 50 in 7th position which is suitable for his playing style and what team needs at that position.
